in Promise of the Day

Today’s promise is Galatians 1:3, 4:

“Grace to you and peace from God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father.”

Freedom (1)

This is the truth the enemy is so desperate to keep from the world. God’s will. Not to inflict pain and suffering, but to deliver us from it! Not by eliminating it from our lives, but by giving it purpose, as He molds and refines us into His image. Through the sacrifice of His Son, He gives us the the grace and power to rise above pain and suffering now, and an eternal future completely devoid of them. Yes, God is good–always!

Heavenly Father, thank so much for the sacrifice of Your only begotten Son, who paid the price for my sin. Thank You for paying the price I could never pay. Help me make the most of the grace and peace You paid so dearly for. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

Have a victorious day in The Lord!
