Promise of the Day: Jeremiah 33:8

in Promise of the Day

Today’s promise is Jeremiah 33:8:

“I will cleanse them from all their iniquity by which they have sinned against Me, and I will pardon all their iniquities by which they have sinned and by which they have transgressed against Me.

robe of righteousness

What a wonderful promise. There are times when we may be tempted to think our sins are beyond God’s grace, that we’ve gone too far for even God to forgive us. But, this one thing you can be sure of. When God says all, He means all.

Heavenly Father, I have sinned against You grievously, and don’t deserve Your grace. Yet Your love for me endures forever. Please forgive me, Lord, and send Your Spirit to sanctify me and keep me from sin. And having been cleansed of my past sin, help me remember, when the enemy comes to remind me of them, that You have cast them into the deepest sea and they cannot be retrieved. Thank You for loving me so much. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Have a victorious day in The Lord!

Rebecca, awesome! I’ve been thinking about Christ’s redemption on the cross recently and realizing I’ve been trying to carry on my shoulders what He already redeemed. I love this blog post! I love God’s forgiveness.
