Promise of the Day: Malachi 3:6

in Promise of the Day

Blessings!

Today’s promise is Malachi 3:6:

“For I am the LORD, I do not change;  Therefore you are not consumed, O sons of Jacob.”

My Rock

Though God “makes all things new,” His character never changes. He is good, merciful, and fogiving always and forever. So, who are “the sons of Jacob” whom God will not destroy? Psalm 24:6 tells us that they are those who seek God and strive for His presence. God wants a personal relationship with each of us, and if we seek Him with all our hearts, we will surely find Him. We will not be destroyed, because He is life!

Heavenly Father, thank You so much for being my rock! You are not moved by mood or whims as we are. I can always depend on You to love me with a consistent love. To correct me when I mess up, and to forgive me when I repent. You are the one thing in life I can depend on, and I glorify You for that! In Jesus’ name, Amen!

Have a victorious day in The Lord!

Rebecca

Rebecca,

Your daily emails have truly been a blessing to me in 2016. Although many things didn’t turn out the way I’d hoped in 2016, I have been thoroughly blessed by Abba Father, which more than makes up for any disappointment I may have encountered!

Give my best to Gracie and your husband. And may God continue to bless your lives and your ministry!

In Him,
Mary Ruth Edwards
