Promise of the Day: Psalm 43:5

in Promise of the Day

ThanksgivingBlessings!

Today’s promise is Psalm 43:5:

“Why are you cast down, O my soul?
And why are you disquieted within me?
Hope in God;
For I shall yet praise Him,
The help of my countenance and my God.”

The enemy loves to steal our joy by trying to get us focused on our circumstances. But Jesus overcame the world, and made us overcomers in Him. As Peter learned, walking on the water, it takes discipline to stay focused on the big picture. Jesus is our big picture. Only He can put a smile on our face, when life is not so rosy. He is our victory!

Heavenly Father, let Your praises be always on my lips, that I may remember that You are in control–and You love me! In Jesus’ name, Amen!

Have a victorious day in The Lord!

Rebecca
